Little did fans know it would be 86 more years before the Red Sox would win another word series. Much of the loosing the Red Sox have done is attributed to the Red Sox rivalry with Yankees. Many fans from the Red Sox Nation believed their team was cursed for selling Babe Ruth to the Yankees in 1919.
