Visitors to the area of North Boston are in for good shopping, eating and site seeing. What to Do
Explore the Freedom Trail on a walking tour to gain a first hand understanding of the Revolutionary War. On a sunny day, this tour is a perfect outdoor activity and an experience in “living history.” Starting in Boston Common, the Freedom Trail winds through Boston and includes sixteen official sites such as the old state house and the site of the Boston Massacre. The trail tour ends on the Bunker Hill Monument.
Visit the Charlestown Navy Yard in Charlestown or The USS Constitution and the USS Constitution Museum. Admission to the museum is $5 for adults and $2 for children. Senior citizens pay a discounted fee of $3. Staying in North Boston will put you close to downtown and the financial district. From here, visit the Old State House or the Boston Children’s Museum.
