antico forno

I’ve heard a few grumbles about preferring Antico Forno when it was a small little slip of a restaurant, pre-expansion. What I will say is that it simply does not matter the size or space of this restaurant, the flavor and the portions of the food are big, and that’s why you come here. The surroundings seem to melt away as enormous helpings of oven-baked eggplant, pasta and pizza are brought to you from the fiery furnace. You may be surprised to learn that the wood-burning oven used here is a rarity in Boston, which might explain the need to make room for the crowds.
