Boston Wine Expo 2012
Since Boston is the seventh largest wine market in the nation and a great place for a food and beverage connoisseur, the Boston Wine Expo is being expanded this year to extend into the city for special events, vinter dinners, and gala celebrations. Come enjoy a sophisticated atmosphere and taste wines from over 300 wineries.
The wine expo consists of over 300 wineries around the globe that offer over 1,800 wines available for tasting. The event has become so popular that it is being expanded to a weeklong event with a wide variety of activities. There will be nightly dinners: Monday through Thursday; Special Events Friday-Sunday; Three-Day Education Series Friday-Sunday; Two Day Grand Tasting Saturday and Sunday; and Special Tastings Saturday and Sunday.
Not only are you able to experience wine, food and culture of some of the best wine regions in the nation, but you can also be philanthropic at the same time. The Wine Expo has spent the last 20 years donating some of the proceeds to the non profit community in New England and giving over 1 million dollars to a wide variety of organizations.
If you are interested in this glorious event, grab your tickets early rather than waiting until the last minute. The earlier you purchase tickets, the more money you save. You can buy group tickets individual tickets, one-day tickets, or two day tickets for the Grand Tasting. Every month that it gets closer to the event the price does go up!
